Swim Lessons
The Ashton Swim Lesson Program focuses on water safety and swim skills for early swimmers. The instructors work on water acclimation for children who are not yet comfortable in the water through basic freestyle stroke and elementary backstroke.
In order for your swimmer to attend, the swimmer must be:
1. Potty trained
2. Able to touch the bottom of the shallow end of the large pool (the water level is 2.5 feet)
3. At least 3 years old
4. Able to leave parent and take direction from instructors
5. Put head under water and blow bubbles
Classes consist of three (3), 25-minute lessons, taught by lifeguard certified instructors. Classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
The 10:30am session is for Beginners (learning to put face in the water, bobbing, floating, etc.).
The 11:00am session is for Intermediate (ready to learn swim strokes).
(Not sure which class to pick? Come to the 10:30am session and let an instructor do an evaluation.)
Please send payment at time of registration via Venmo @ashtonrecclub. Be sure to include child's name, "Group Lessons" and week#. Payment required by Monday in order to participate in the lessons.
Each week's session is $50 ($60 for non-members).

*If a session is full, we will open up additional sessions if instructors are available. Priority will be given to pool members and then will be filled first come, first served.
**A minimum of 2 swimmers per session is required for lessons to continue. If there is an insufficient number of swimmers registered by Saturday evening (two days before your selected week begins), you will be notified via email.
***NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR LATE ATTENDANCE OR MISSED CLASSES. SESSIONS ARE HELD RAIN OR SHINE (unless the pool is closed by the guards for thunder/lightening). THERE ARE NO MAKE-UP CLASSES.
